Patasola Press Reading

Hey all,

Last weekend was super fun. I did a reading at Governor’s Island inside of a Colonial house where a fully functioning poetry brothel works. It was fascinating. Editor and poet, Lisa Marie Basile hosted the event and it was funded by The New York Poet Society.  There is a little blurb about it here.

I read an essay called “Who The Others Were.” People laughed a lot and when they do that, I almost lose my shit. The essay will be included in La Patasola Press’s Anthology of Female Voices–A print anthology that will be available around this October.

The funky room we read in.
My best friend and I outside the house, pre-gaming.

IN OTHER NEWS: Used Furniture Review published a new essay of mine called “Barney.”

UFR also did an interview with my friend and publisherI Learn As I Go: A Conversation with Kevin Sampsell.

In it, he answers a good amount of questions about Future Tense Press, and his new novel, “This Is Between Us.”

More to come.
