BOOK PROCESS

I’m getting kind of sentimental about being done with my book. It’s hard to let go.  So many people have helped me transform this messy thing into a real book. Kevin Sampsell, Eric Wybenga, and Bryan Coffelt, especially. They’ve been working their asses off. Here are some photos from the past nine months. Yes, nine months! This book is my child!

Deciding what order the essays should be in, on the floor of Cheryl Strayed's office.

So, we’re finishing up and sending it into reviewers arms. I’m also getting ready to go to Chicago for the Associated Writer’s Program in a few weeks. I have two readings there on March 1st. And on March 7th, I will be reading at Freerange Non-fiction in Manhattan.

Love,

Chloe
